Sherry is Junxion’s Design Director and a seasoned creative who has spent decades translating brand strategy into compelling, purpose‑driven visual communications.

Since founding her own studio in 1995, she has navigated continual shifts in design technology and practice, combining craft, adaptability, and business insight to help organizations express who they are and what they stand for.

One of her early engagements with Junxion was on a project with a home builder focused on LEED‑certified practices and long‑lasting, meaningful projects—quite different from the profit‑driven work that dominated much of the space. The brand’s existing identity was lacking a defined sense of emotion and personality that reflected its social commitments.

Through a process of getting to the root of what the client sought to represent, Sherry refreshed the entire identity, including logo, brochures, business cards, website, signage, creating a look and feel that more authentically expressed their values.

When you work with purpose, there’s strong emotion behind the visuals. It’s not just about something that looks good for a moment.

More recently, she has played a central role in Junxion’s work with Take A Hike Foundation, a charity that empowers vulnerable youth through outdoor‑based education and mental health programming. In that project, Sherry renewed the visual identity to reflect the full story of Take A Hike Foundation’s impact and to support stronger connections with donors and partners. Finding the balance between honouring what a brand already means to its community and making it more dynamic and bold has become a common thread in her work.

What’s Your “Why?”

Sherry is particularly interested in how design can support social and environmental change. She often asks what more can be done beyond the traditional, practical lens of promoting a product or service.

In an age when it is easy to generate visual content instantaneously, she is deeply committed to ensuring a brand identity or campaign speaks to a greater purpose and will continue to feel authentic as an organization evolves.

Stepping back and creating something with meaning, that speaks to a greater purpose, and stands the test of time.

At Junxion, this perspective shows up in her work on impact‑focused communications, where she collaborates closely with the team to ensure meaning, language, and visuals reinforce one another—and that design choices make complex work feel clear, relevant, and actionable without losing nuance.

Unique Positioning

Having owned and led her own studio since 1995, Sherry has guided teams and clients through the full creative process, from concept to completion, for organizations of all sizes—across print, packaging, digital, and spatial experiences.

Sherry has experienced the evolution of the ever-changing industry, giving her an appreciation for adaptation, as well as an element of genuine craft.

She is especially skilled at taking an existing brand and re‑energizing it, creating identities that clients are excited to work with and that remain flexible enough to support future growth. She is passionate about cause marketing, social issues campaigns, environmentally responsible products, and natural food and beverage brands.

Sherry is a mom and relishes time with family and in nature. She appreciates unique and innovative perspectives that encourage change and better attitudes and actions. Ultimately, she believes in loving what you do for a living, having fun, and likes to inspire creative confidence, whenever possible, in those around her.
