Carolin is an experienced graphic designer who creates clear, enduring visual communications across print, digital, and interactive platforms.

Over more than 20 years and design roles across Europe, Canada, and Australia, she has developed brand identities, annual reports, marketing collateral, websites, infographics, signage, trade‑show displays, and more.

She brings a strong understanding of how culture and design intersect, balancing visual innovation with clarity and consistency. Whether building a new identity or working within exacting corporate guidelines, Carolin creates thoughtful design systems that help organizations communicate with confidence.

Foundational Moments

Carolin’s practice has been shaped by a global career and a lasting interest in the foundations of design. Her first design role in a Vancouver agency introduced her to the full creative process—from graphic design and print production to web and interactive work—and established the versatility she continues to bring to every project.

At Schneider Electric, Carolin worked within the renewable-energy business unit. She rebranded product and sales materials, coordinated print production, and developed multilingual advertisements, newsletters, product sheets, and white papers in collaboration with marketing and engineering teams across Canada, Europe, and the United States.

Her subsequent work with MEC supported the launch of a new corporate identity across digital and physical touchpoints, from websites, email, and social media to advertising, in‑store signage, and printed materials.

Working within complex brand systems while still making each communication engaging and relevant to its audience.

What’s Your “Why?”

Carolin is drawn to timeless design: work that remains clear, useful, and relevant years after it is created, rather than following a passing visual trend. That means paying close attention to the underlying foundations of a project: its purpose, audiences, hierarchy of information, and the system that will allow communications to evolve over time.

At Junxion, Carolin has applied that thinking to purpose‑driven projects, including graphics for the Canadian Purpose Economy Project. Her work helps turn complex ideas into communications that are coherent, accessible, and compelling.

Design is the ambassador of communication. That’s why it’s so important to get it right.

Unique Positioning

Carolin holds a Bachelor of Arts and Design in Communication Design from Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd in Germany, where teaching was informed by the Bauhaus movement.

Her studies combined graphic, typographic, and photographic methods with digital and interactive media, focusing on how to design complex communication systems and understand the processes behind successful communication. That education developed her architectural way of thinking: a strong eye for structure, visual hierarchy, proportion, and detail.

Alongside her work with Junxion, Carolin works with a range of freelance clients, particularly in real estate, providing graphic design, web design, WordPress development, brand guidelines, marketing materials, and promotional collateral.

Outside of work, she enjoys photography, pottery, woodworking, sewing, and cooking—creative practices that continue to inform her care for materials, craft, and detail.
