The team at Junxion India is thrilled to announce the launch of Social Venture Network India this fall.
For 27 years, SVN has been a thriving community of North American and European change-makers, and has helped launch new organisations like Net Impact, BSR, BALLE, ASBC and SVN Europe. SVN and its sister organisations have seen a progressive vision move from the margins to the mainstream.
Now it’s time to extend that vision to the rapidly growing economies of countries that will define much of the global agenda in the 21st century. That’s why Junxion is leading the charge to spread SVN’s wings to the Indian subcontinent.
Why India? The country is now one of the world’s largest economies and is poised for further growth. At the same time, India is struggling with a range of social and environmental issues, including vast income inequalities, poverty and malnutrition, environmental degradation and rapid population growth. If India is to meet its development goals, mission-based entrepreneurs and their enterprises will be essential in addressing some of these profound issues.
Establishing a new network like SVN India can only happen with the support of a variety of stakeholders, so we are actively working to bring a range of organisations into the SVN India fold.
That’s where you come in. We invite you to share contact details of any mission-driven business leaders and social entrepreneurs in India.
