Chantal is a seasoned communications and project management professional with a 15-year background in strategy, brand, marketing, and communications across corporate, SME, start-up, non-profit, consulting and academic sectors.
She has led and worked with cross-cultural teams locally and internationally, and has managed stakeholders across a broad range of industries and socio-economic groups. She started her career in the corporate world at CIBC Wood Gundy, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Travel Underwriters.
In the community, Chantal has developed strategies and campaigns which have resulted in over $1.2 million in donations for community projects. She has been a director of several charity boards, has coached individuals and teams worldwide in organizing climbing and adventure campaigns for charity, co-led several international charity climbs and expeditions, and co-produced and co-directed an award-winning outdoor adventure documentary. Chantal has also lived, traveled, and collaborated with members of the Tahltan First Nation of northern British Columbia, and the Manangi (Bhotiya) peoples of north-central Nepal.
Chantal holds a Master of Arts degree in Communication with specialization in values-based leadership and social entrepreneurship, a Bachelor of Commerce degree in International Business, a Marketing Management certificate in PR, and the Professional Project Manager (PMP) designation.
In her free time, you will find her reading psychology and eastern philosophy books, doing yoga, running, and hiking in the Coast Mountains in and around Squamish, BC.
